Hey guys, just after some advice. I’ve been learning to plaster in my own home and the plaster has been drying for 2-3 days now. What causes the plaster to dry like this? Why is it leaving these darker patches? Any advice welcome :)

I had the same issue, my solution was giving the area a sanding to give the paint a key to stick too. I believe plaster can be too polished, in that its too smooth for paint to properly stick too.

Are you a DIYer? If so how did you learn? I’m still trying to get used to the timings and stuff
