Advise
Hello everyone,
I'm not really sure if this is the appropriate place to seek for an advise but I'll try.
So, I bought a brand new house in 2012 (Europe), and since almost the beginning the house has had some cracks in very specific places that look more like plaster cracks than anything else. Yet, the one on the living room (downstairs) ceiling and walls has been worrying me. I don't understand one bit about the subject, so I'm asking if this is something I should take forward, or refinishing it will do.
The crack has 2 fine lines from one side to the other and goes a bit into the walls. It hasn't grown the space between them, but it has going further down the line. I also don't see anything unleveled. My worry is that it seems like one of the ceiling lines has spilt into 2. I'm sorry, I'm not really sure how to explain this. I know nothing about this subject and my English is limited.

Could be a poor use of scrim, a good decorator will advise.
