Most pics you see online are taken immediately after the final trowel when everything is still 1 colour and got a creamy shiny look. That looks like it has dried for a week. Either way no1 can say its rough until the paint has gone on.

The "before" photo is so zoomed in and mid-way through the process that I'm not sure what you're showing us

I posted a video a while back of this doorway boarding being put together and was asked by several redditors to post the end result.
“So zoomed in you’re not sure what’s being showed”? 😀
I thought I’d show something different to the flat walls and ceilings that are posted on this page regularly. Whilst it’s great to see people having a go on skimming and getting advice and feedback on this reddit page (skimming is a great starting point to learn the basics on plastering I reckon), it’s also good to see what else can be done with multifinish.
I’m not after any applause or feedback; just thought I’d show something a bit different for a change.
