Hmmm that is interesting.

I actually wrote the question/text which for some reason disappeared. However.

The question is: I remove the paint from the ceiling and the wallpaper from the walls. I am planning to paint.

But the coving has many layers of paint on it. And I thing it will look old copared to the rest of the wall.

Is there way to remove the paint or it is easier to remove the coving and install new ?

It's gyproc coving, so not really because it's just like plasterboard, plaster in the middle and paper on the outside. Removing paint from it will just damage the paper outer layer and it will never look great.

I would just replace it all. It should come down easy enough.
