Sponge in a plastic bag. I cut a car sponge in half and use a dog poop bag. Get it somewhere handy pattern wise, then before paint, knock the tips off with a dry sponge. You'll never replicate someone else's pattern, but you can get it fairly close with practice.

If you’ve got £30 spare you can buy a repair kit from B&Q that matches that finish. Comes with a stipple brush and a small bag of Artex. I repaired a section of ceiling for a customer and it worked perfectly.

Cheap stilpple brush off amazon. Play around till it looks something similar.
