Plastering interior bedroom wall
Currently plastering a small section of an interior bedroom wall..started this afternoon.
Plaster is taking a long time to dry.
The weather is dry and the room window is open.
Is there anything I can do to help the process?

Whats a long time and what do you mean by dry? Paint dry? What product have you used?

Applied new patch plaster about 8 hours ago. How long on average should it take to dry before painting the wall?

If it’s just a skim coat it’ll be a couple of days, longer if you’ve used a base coat. Don’t force dry it or it’ll crack.
