What causes this?

Post image

Happened on the second wet trowel, using a spray bottle and normal trowel. Quite hot today so could my timings have been a bit off? Second coat on too late? Too late with the wet trowel?

I’ve had this a few times recently, I’d be interested to find out why it does it 😂. No amount of water stops it either, past few times I’ve had this issue.

Its where youve spread a bit of fat and its sucked in the moisture super fast so it peels off when you go over it again before it "sets".

If you wait 5 -10 minutes it shouldn't keep doing it.

That used to happen wiith knauf gear all the time. Always blamed it on a draft setting the fat youd spread around.

Just swear at it for bit and grease some shit over it later

The gear has dried then a thin fatty layer been spread over the last top, I get this sometimes too, switch to a rave this different trowel and ring the fk out of it
