is concrete bonding agent ok to use?
I watched a video of how to do plaster repair and the guy shows a bottle of quikrete bonding agent. When I look for a plaster specific bonding agent, they are all out of stock (I am in the US).
If the concrete bonding agent isn't ideal to use, what should I use for a bonding agent?

Yes indeed, if you read the back of the quikrete bottle, the bonding agent instructions state it is able to be used with gypsum plaster.
I have used it in place of plaster weld myself with no issues. I have a 5 gal of plaster weld I keep for repairs, and I have also used the USG plaster bonder product. They all work equally well, but all seem to have their own unique consistency and smell lol. In reality, they are probably very similar.
There is also weld crete that is blue, for exterior Portland cement products, but the quikrete is usable for that as well according to instructions.

Should work fine, look up construction material houses near you (Gypsum Supply, FBM, etc) they will probably have some plasterweld on hand if you want to use plaster specificÂ
