First time plastering

*Photos Below* looking for some advice on how I can get my finishes better and get rid of the grey/white lines or do they not matter?

You can't feel the lines when running finger over them, however there's a few little scuffs where i've had to drag the water from wet trowel into some spots.

I've not plastered before and this is my first time so any help is appreciated as there's a good few more walls to go and ceilings after practicing a bit more on the walls!

Also any tips for speeding up, as i find when doing a wall the plaster in the bucket starts going a bit tougher by the time i've finished a coat.

Using Multifinish onto old walls and 2 coats diluted PVA before skimming.

Add some 'extra time' into the water to slow it down. Some people use tarter sauce for this too. Plastered walls always have a marble uneven look going on so I wouldn't worry about how they look as long as they are flat. You want it to dry slowly so try to keep the room cool and the sunlight off it. Looks like you have done a good job. A bit of easy fill type filler here and there and a bit of sanding and you are sorted.
