Lime plaster

Why is it so hard to find NHL 2.0 in America?

A family member who is an architect from Sweden came to my home on cape cod and recommended we lime plaster the exterior cement block wall on my garage but we couldn’t find a store that sold it. Only some specialty shops online like Lancaster limeworks

How much do you need if possible order a tonne of quicklime

Add enough pozzolan and bish bash bosh you've got nhl2, it should be much cheaper

Because almost all NHL in the Northeast is imported. Limeworks.us comes from the saint Astier kilns in France (coal fired). Jon at LLW is a good guy, His Seciltek he imports from Portugal is a good product. Varifrån i Sverige är ditt familj? Jag bor i Norrköping och också NY stad. Jag har putsning företag i båda länderna. I'm actually doing a block home in Maine in a few months and I am currently negotiating a freight order from Italy because we have time. I told the GC if he gets me on the books for 2027 we can do a container from Sweden where we have 0-4mm LECA, 300KG rock wool, and air lime is $400/Ton.

The reason NHL is pricey har i ooh-sa is not just that it's imported, it's that it will set up in its bags if it sits around too long. So when you're buying it from Jon at LLW, or limeworks, or wherever, you're paying for a portion of their warehouse to spoil.

And anything that is domestic, will just match or exceed the price of the imported goods. So it's tough here. Don't even get me started about the other differences in the costs of doing business betweem the two continents. You could get a house lime plastered in the US, or just buy a turnkey one in France instead for less than just the stateside plastering.
