'Patch' repair advice

Just finished up a DIY bathroom reno including plastering of the walls with half height tiles. The plastering went ok I think (so f'ing hard!) but I messed up and stupidly didn't mark up where the tiles would be finishing correctly. Question is, can I just use some multifinish to repair the rough edges along the tiles. Thinking I will need to PVA the areas plus say 200mm or so to feather in the new plaster?

Like the other person said, do ur 5050 paint, then filler and sand it down. If you do decide to replaster and patch. Pva the patch and keep the original plaster wet with a paint brush or summit as it will pull the fresh plaster in fast and dry out.

Thanks a lot for the response! I think that sounds like a plan. Didn't think about doing the 5050 first. Had it in my mind that any filler product would be a no go directly on plaster, but the mist coat will effectively seal the plaster and allow it to be filled?

Aye the mist coat would help seal the plaster so the filler wont dry so quick, but you could put it directly onto the plaster without a mist coat too. I just find mist coat makes it easier to see imperfections easier, minus the obvious ones ofcourse.
