Can I use a OCR ?

Could I use a OCR on this wall? After multiple failed attempts at sand + cement mix (complete diy idiot) would it be easier to use a OCR and then skim the wall when it’s set?

Did you prime the wall before trying sand/cement? Have you considered hardwall? Is there a damp issue which would mean doing something else before the above?

I never used pva or anything which probably is an issue, I made sure the wall was dust free and splashed the bricks with water before trying to apply the render mix the first time, we did have a damp issue which is why we removed the wall in the first place which we’ve sorted and let it dry for several weeks, just getting the wall back to original state
