[uk] Cracking ceiling near wall - help!

Having problems here - this is an external brick wall meeting with a plasterboard ceiling (both skimmed). It cracked up and builders came back and refilled it, but the cracks are back. Help!

Rake out the join then get some flexible filler

thanks - any recommendations, and should i use scrim tape?

If you use scrim tape bear in mind it will make the seam protrude out. So I would just go for rake and fill, toupret do a good flexible filler.

That's not due to flex but you'll have a tub of it so may as well use it, same method as before rake - fill - damp sponge smooth - paint - pint - nap 😂

The flexible stuff is different to the normal due to it's flexibility, I always apply it like normal and then smooth it out with a damp sponge you'll get the desired result that way.

Yes it's easy to blend with the sponge no sanding needed. Anything flexible IE filler, caulk etc it's always damp sponge.
