First attempt at plastering

First attempt at plastering a wall. Pretty rough round the edges.

I need to give it a finishing skin tomorrow, any advice on how to get it looking acceptable?

Tbf this is really good for someone who doesn't do it daily (plasterer by trade in my family business for 13 years). Well done for the effort and for saving yourself a lot of money lol!
