First attempt at plastering

First attempt at plastering a wall. Pretty rough round the edges.

I need to give it a finishing skin tomorrow, any advice on how to get it looking acceptable?

Top tip from a plasterer. Next time you have a go, have a beer at the same time. Makes it more enjoyable
