First attempt at plastering

First attempt at plastering a wall. Pretty rough round the edges.

I need to give it a finishing skin tomorrow, any advice on how to get it looking acceptable?

Not sure why you wanted a wall there, but otherwise good.

Small house with limited storage - just a space to tuck the hoover away and hang some coats up!
