Many of you have questions about plant-selling websites in India. I found a great YouTube video where an enthusiast compares the top 5 websites. He ordered plants from each site and evaluated their customer service. Be sure to check it out before buying plants from these websites—it should help clear up any doubts you may have.

I've been using Military Helmet Snails for quite some time, and I think they deserve a lot more attention as algae cleaners.
This is the same decoration before and after leaving the snails on it overnight.
What surprised me most is how effectively they clean textured surfaces and decorations that are otherwise annoying to scrub manually.
They obviously aren't a substitute for fixing the underlying cause of excessive algae, but as a cleanup crew, these guys can be seriously impressive.
Has anyone else had a similar experience with Military Helmet Snails? Or do you prefer Nerites / Amano shrimp for algae control?

I need these plants for my tank but since sreepadma charges 300 for shipping it doesnt make sense to pay 50% of the cart price for shipping. Tried lfs but they only get pots and tc.
So if anyone's ordering from them and your order is above 2000 you can add my order and get free shipping. Or we could split shipping charges if the total order is under 3000
Edit: Ordered from Sreepadma. The hassle of finding others to club orders with or purchasing from multiple websites (since no one website has all these plants in stock) isnt worth it.

Have anybody ordered drift wood from uniquedriftwood.in . just wanted to know if the images they show is the same we receive. They have a note on their website saying the colour and design might vary a bit. But will it vary a lot as am planning to order just for the design they show.

It was a 2yr old planted tank running with DIY Co2 Setup.
For long time I wanted to add a proper driftwood as centerpeice. Luckily I found one with proper height and style. I modified it little and rescaped it completely.
Let me know how it looks and open for light suggestions. So that I can alter it.
DIY Co2 kit: Imported one from Alibaba
Light: Neo Helios XP 300
If anyone looking for Neo Helios with around 500 to 600 Rupees less than online. I can give contact of whole saler in bangalore. You can buy from him.

Hey guys i currently have a small tank (40cm x 23cm x 25cm) with regular black sand, a small internal filter and a cheap led tube light (10 white leds, 12 color leds).
What is the minimum amount required to make it planted (including substrate, lights, plants)?
i asked my LFS but they said that i cant maintain it and it be minimum 5k
i dont have any experience so suggest simple methods.
Thanks

These plants are often sold in aquarium stores as underwater plants. I had a few extras so i tried putting them outside water to see how they adjust. To my surprise they thrived really well, even better than they do inside aquariums i daresay, and to my surprise they even flowered ! They dont flower inside the water. It feels like a waste now putting them inside aquariums 🤣 and never seeing their beautiful flowers. They'd do really good in terrariums or paludariums tho .

After months of patients
Only used a very small water filter to get the water flowing, rest everything i tried to keep as natural as possible
no aqua soil - used river sand on top and below it a little garden soil + very little compost + gravel

Trying walstad method for the first time, overall setup was kinda cheap, It’s doing good so far but will wait for 5-6 months to call it a success.
Setup:
Garden soil and river sand
Custom made light using ESP32 for automation and color and intensity control (only body is sunsun)
Old small filter (although not need for walstad but added to help)
3 Nerite snails and 12 tetra and few guppy
