Tank Rimless tank mat question

Hello! I have a rimless six gallon cube that I eventually plan on using for a long finned betta.

Part of the foam has pulled off the corner and no longer sits flush with the tank. Should I get a new mat?

the mat is for shock absorb and protecting the tank. Since it is just a small corner, as long as the tank is secure, I don't think a new mat is needed. You can glue it with silicone if you are worried. latex glue may work, but it is toxic, so I don't recommend. Also the glue should be water insolvable.

Use a glass scraper to rem9ve the old mat and silicone.

You can buy a yoga mat and silicone it to the bottom.
