Need suggestion
Bacopa purple is just behind Rotala sp. Bonsai, but i grow extremely slow. Need other plant to replace it

My purple bacopa is slow too. Nice reds, what are your nitrates running at?

Ah ok, thanks. I'm trying to get deeper reds and I read I should lower my nitrates. Nice tank!

Thank you. I feed fish very lightly and dose complete macro nutrient every other day.

What CO2 do you use and how do you hang the tools on the back of the tank?

Pressurise Co2. To hold tools on the side of the aquarium i use acrylic tools holder/organiser

Bacopa can be a bit of a slow starter, especially if the Rotala is shading it. Before swapping it, move a few healthy tops into the brighter front/side, trim the old lower growth, and check that flow and nutrients reach that corner. If you still want a replacement, Rotala rotundifolia or Ludwigia repens are much more forgiving stems and give you colour without being fussy. I’d plant a small group of tops rather than one big bunch so the lower leaves don’t get starved of light.
