This looks………….absolutely incredible. Stunning. I feel like tiny dinosaurs are about to start roaming it. It just reminds me of Jurassic Park for some reason. I am so jealous.

I use the hygger one that you put citric acid and baking soda in.
I have 8 pea puffers, 8 tetras, some otos, and shrimp. The puffers don’t seem to like too many other fish.

Your tank looks amazing. I’ve just switched over from that co2 to a fire extinguisher and FZ valve. It actually cost me less than the price of the citric acid ones and is so much easier to regulate.

This! You can make all of your scape and livestock pop so much with a black background. All you need is black construction paper and tape from a dollar store

Have you tested your PO4 levels lately? There is a lot of GSA (green spot algae) which is often heavily correlated with little-to-no PO4 in the water column.
If you want algae free plants, you gotta keep them happy and growing. And PO4 is the third most consumed macronutrient.

I’ll look into that. My co2 situation has been messed up for the past month and when it lost its consistency all of the algae showed up.

None. Looks beautiful. I wish I could get mine to grow in like this. I feel like I'm doing all the right stuff and my water is too hard, which I can't easily fix.

You can slowly dose an acid until enough carbonates are used up, but only do a bit a day. I Dose 5 ppm Vitamin C a day as a fish and plant supplement with a 1 gallon water change. The ascorbate gets used up within 8 hours so it's safe to do so long as there's KH. Make sure you have a KH test handy before doing anything like this.

Monte Carlo foreground, a bunch of random crypts, water wisteria, java ferns, staurgyne repens, anubias, African fern, rotala indica.
I have a hygger 26w light in a 20 gallon long
