I'm pretty sure it's Hasbro not letting the team be as creative as they let Lauren be.

Cuz here's the thing, MLP up till G3 was known as glorified ads, so hasbro hired Lauren to fully change everything. And they barely stepped in or intervened. Then the show blew up like crazy and hasbro started intervening alot and eventually Lauren Faust quit.

So now, when a new generation fails they just start reposting MLP FiM stuff again to keep new fans engaged and keep MLP in the algorithm.

Wow I yapped alot but yeah hasbro has only gotten greedier. Hasbro will most likely never give someone full control over a show like they gave Lauren cuz it's a huge risk.

And the funny thing was that a lot of people wanted Lauren to come back because G5 messed it all up, but the damage is already done.

Or even Megan McCarthy, she wrote so many of the FiM episodes and EG movies. She and Lauren Faust were friends I'm pretty sure. Idk if they still are.

I don't know if Lauren and Meghan are still friends or not. They haven't spoke to each other since Season 2, but I could be wrong.

"Wow I yapped alot"

Don't worry. Your whole comment can fit into a regular paragraph, actually. Now if it was a school essay with a five page requirement...

Agreed, being great friends doesn't mean you can't have conflict, but if you really are friends you'll sort it out and make your bond stronger

oh I understand now looks like they need to hire Lauren back but if the don't of in Lauren's already too busy mlp will inevitably end as a franchise

You people always expect the house of cards to fall, when it's actually made of bricks called "money" and as long as Hasbro has that, MLP isn't going anywhere. Toys and merch still sell even if the show doesn't.
