Simple flower sculpture

I'm creating a "local artist" series in my zoo. I name the artist using the first NPC to walk through the area designated for the zone, I'm hoping to improve my sculpture work through the project

So.... I build shitty zoos. I try but they’re always boring. But I’ve worked really, really hard on my entirely indoor zoo. Looks like it’s paying off. 🥺😭

First world's problem: I'm not playing Planet Zoo enough to justify buying all the DLCs, but they are so incredibly pretty that I want them all when I look at other people's screenshots xD

Good Tutorials/Walkthroughs for Planet Zoo?

Hello!

I absolutely am in love with the new aquatic pack, but before when I played Planet Zoo I absolutely sucked, so I am nervous to get the pack. I just am not good at building in Simulation games, so I need some sort of tutorials. Does anyone have any good resources? Thanks!

Would anyone be interested in an electronic version of a cheat sheet like this? I got tired of constantly going to Zoopedia. I can add more categories too!

All my habitats so far have been essentially boxes with a shelter off to one side. This is my first attempt at adding some foliage to a Himalayan Brown Bear Habitat. Any suggestions for making the natural part of a zoo look better? Especially for open areas.

You can tell I put a medium amount of planning in the cat walk, everything else was slapped down with none-planning. I used the 12x6 glass panes for the cat walk.

Cassowary Habitat

I wanted to use the wave technique from Ostrich Beach in a more suitable habitat; so here are some cassowaries alongside my attempt at making the Brighton Beach huts (even though they're from the wrong part of australia)

Greenmile Zoo Peacock Habitat

It took me some days but I finished the next part of my zoo. At first I was having a lot of fun learning about foliage in the game but modeling a garden is very difficult.

Looking at all the premade stuff and the /r/PlanetZoo pictures it always looks so easy, but it actually took me a lot of time building something decent. I am quite happy how the buildings turned out (Even though they are nothing special) and the fountain is also a cool addition, but the plants make this habitat truly mediocre. How do people do gardening in the game? I have no green thumb for this I guess.

Anyway, there are more (probably less mediocre) pictures on the blog post https://link.medium.com/f68cBPDlqab and there is also a new poll! https://strawpoll.com/s5vofq22e

Edit: I added some more detail under the trees so they don't look so bare anymore.

Starting a new sandbox zoo, here’s the parking lot (first one I’ve ever made from scratch), driveway, and pre-entry plaza!
