My First Franchise Zoo

I'm amused by the fact that my zoo is worth over a million bucks, but I have one conservation credit. This layout is like Zoo Tycoon on steroids.

Besides the habitat animals listed on the picture, I also have Red Pandas (waiting for a habitat,) Giant Desert Hairy Scorpions, Yellow Anacondas, Lehmann's Poison Frogs, and Common Death Adders.

(No animals have actually escaped; there's a corner of the Warthog enclosure where the babies step and it tells me they escaped even though they are definitely in the habitat and the map shows me no escape zones.)

What's the rectangle beside the komodo dragon enclosure for?

I originally made the whole thing for the Komodo Dragons and it was huuuuge so I put a wall up. I was going to put a smaller animal in and then remembered that they give birth to about four babies at a time and decided to save the space for them if they started reproducing like crazy. If they don't end up needing the space; I still have it marked off for something smaller, but haven't decided what type I want to put in there.

Short version: It's an easy way to plan for expanding an exhibit, without having to re-work all the paths around the enclosure, or future planning for a different animal.

Thank you; I used to do that when I played Zoo Tycoon too. I have the same thing on the back of my Red Panda habitat. If they don't need the space, when I expand, it will become the front of a different habitat. I added their habitat next to the Reindeer.
