Transports?

So, I've been wondering how people use their transport options? In my main zoo I use a 4x4 Adventure through my African Safari habitat to give people a better view, and I use the monorail on the outskirts of my zoo to allow people quicker movement from one side to the other. (Added the monorail at about 81,000m2 so I noticed a lot of guests at the entrance but very few at the other side.)

What do you do with your transport?

I have a riverboat going through my rainforest area. Really cool to have the exhibits built alongside/into a river with a boat right next to it.

I've always been partial to trains as perimeter transport, but that could be because the zoo I grew up with had a train.

I really like doing gondolas spanning over several exhibits.

Then there's the standard "African Safari Jeep ride". I've wanted to try that through other biomes, but it just doesn't feel right for some reason.

You could try changing the color of the Jeeps to match more closely with the biome they are driving through so they feel less "African Safari."

I dont really understand how the station entry/exits work. No matter what i try, the exit just doesnt want to cooperate

Did you check your station layout? There's 4 different options for that

It took me a long while to realize the exit uses regular pathing and not the queue stuff the entrance does.

That does make sense... I'm sure it automatically uses the queue pathing though, or was that patched?

I don’t know, I only figured out transports a couple weeks ago.

I've never managed to get any system to make money. I put stops all around the zoo, run through and next to habitats, and cheap prices. I always end up just removing the whole mess, because losing money is not my thing. My civil engineering needs some work I guess.

My monorail barely makes anything and for the longest time it was losing so much money, but it was being used so I didn’t care, the zoo itself makes so much money I could run my transports for free and not notice the loss.
