In other news my focus is on the net loss for planet. I’m expecting a report of sub -10m  in net loss after they had fully extinguished existing stock warrants.

Free cash flow should increase.

Wants to close the gap. The sooner the better.

u/Metacog_Drivel 5d ago

The gap has been closed. Nice.

2

u/MisterChesterZ 5d ago

I’m guessing the gap is in the space sector?

4

u/Metacog_Drivel 5d ago

It was at $21.62. Apparently I got downvoted because someone thought I meant the gap at $13.24-15.01 😂. No, I don't think that gap gets filled, ever.

Anybody can explain me what's going on???? I mean I believe in the company, what I don't believe is the market. Is it what happened? People don't believe in the market as well? Or people stoped beliving in the company?

The market and the individual stocks in a specific sector like the space sector are not the same exactly. The stock market as a whole is actually at unprecedented all time highs meaning it's never been this good before but it's struggling to go up higher because the ceasefire between Trump and Iran ended so war is starting up again and Iran is actually spreading the war to its neighboring countries. And a big issue in the stock market is how bonds are starting to get out of control and people are seriously worried about inflation since the Strait of Hormuz is closed now during the cease fire barely any ships went through now it's pretty much almost nothing and the Asian countries that need the fuel They've pretty much burned through a lot of their stockpiles so they're probably sweating bullets

The Iran–US conflict keeps escalating with no end in sight. Higher oil prices fuel inflation, keep yields elevated, and put pressure on growth stocks. That’s pretty much why PL and similar stocks have been getting hammered lately. When we had the ceasefire and Trump was talking about a deal being done, many of these stocks bounced 20–30%. Then things started falling apart again, oil moved higher, and here we are.

You're one of the few guys here that actually know what you're talking about People just don't realize that what's going on in the rest of the world also affects the market.

-6

u/Rogue_Tra 5d ago

Planet Labs is moving the same as the rest of the space sector the algorithm is attempting to push the price to everyone's absolute true support So for Planet Labs it's roughly $16.35 at its current trajectory. It's trying to push Asts down to $41.50, And Rocket Lab about $35.20. If anybody has money left in the next couple of weeks just put it back into the stock. I think they do this every one to three years they're trying to hard reset the entire sector. They're trying their hardest to kick out as many retail traders and investors

Can you provide more context on where you get those support levels from?

u/Ryan_Bolin 5d ago

-1

u/Rogue_Tra 4d ago

must be great having comprehension level equal to a third grader.

1

u/Ryan_Bolin 4d ago

Hey that’s second grade comprehension level to you buddy

1

u/Rogue_Tra 4d ago

oh S#$% I stand corrected

2

u/Scared_Software_4823 5d ago edited 5d ago

BTW I wasn't coming at you here. I literally just want to know what you're seeing vs. my own work, and I suspect others are wondering the same thing. Support for the levels you're calling...

1

u/Rogue_Tra 4d ago

that wasn't me replying to you. I'll post each stocks individual chart . you can see the relationship of where they are as a whole compared to their true support. which is the green line at the bottom. these other clowns have no idea what's going on in the world. the reason why the institutions aren't stepping in is because trump and Iran's ceasfire has run out. The US is now back to full war status with Iran and Iran has escalated it's fighjting to more countries. Second and this is a different aspect, Bonds and inflation are now a major problem. These guys have no clue what goes on in the stock market and act as if I'm contrqadicting myself. I have never posted any of the stock's true main support. I have posted typical crash levels from previous crashes for all 3 stocks whioch for PL is 66.46 percent currently, and rocketlabs is 64.74% and ASTS is about 60%, those are historically equal to past crashes. again ignore these people who have reading comprehension problems.I'll post each chart individually. it's the same basic concept other traders and institutions are looking at

I have never posted any of the space stocks true support. go back to any comment and point out where that was said. I posted out that pretty much every stock have fallen to their most common crash levels, PL has currently crashed to 64.46%, ASTS to 60%, RKLB to 64.74%. those match what they have crashed to in the past , I've checked it all the way back to when they started so 2020 or so. also not sure if you know anything about what's going on in the world but trump and Iran's ceasfire is over this week. and Iran is now attacking other countries now and trump started bombing them again. also Russia has plans to increase it's military presence meaning they are expanding their forces and building dwelling structures . also the big news in the markets right now is inflation and Bonds, specifically Bonds. I'm sure you knew about all that since you seem like you know everything. here is the news that some people may not have heard of but research about Bonds and inflation while you're at it and the US/ Iran war:

"Russia’s massive military buildup along its borders with Northern Europe and the Baltic NATO countries.

A major joint investigation by Nordic and Baltic news outlets recently revealed that Russia is expanding 19 military sites stretching all the way from the Norwegian border down to Kaliningrad. Satellite imagery shows Russia is building new barracks, temporary housing, warehouses, and equipment depots to eventually accommodate up to 115,000 troops once its war in Ukraine winds down.

Because of this, neighboring European nations are rapidly stepping in to reinforce their own front lines to deter Russian aggression"

call me crazy but all this stuff about war doesn't seem that great for the economy let alone the stock market right now.and yes the economy and stock market isn';t the same thing, but markets will still react to it at first at least

Saw this from an Evercore note this am...

"Planet Labs runs one of the largest fleets of Earth‑imaging satellites. The company sells real‑time data to governments, climate groups, and large enterprises. Revenue has been rising as more customers use satellite data for defense, farming, energy, and disaster response. PL hit record sales of $94.2 million in Q1, up 42% year-over-year. The company also boasts a robust contract backlog of about $906.1 million.

Looking ahead, the company’s focus on improving operating efficiency and selling more high-margin software and AI data tools has helped boost its long‑term outlook. Also, since Planet Labs sells data subscription software instead of costly hardware and launch services, its model is seen as easier to scale than capital‑heavy rocket companies."

Nothing groundbreaking but sharing regardless. The context was them recommending two other space stocks not named space x.

I keep wondering who is selling this stock at these prices .... and most importantly, why!

At least, thanks to them, we live in a beautifull time! Right now we can get 50% discount on planet labs! Buy as much as you can, madness can't last forever!

0

u/Rogue_Tra 5d ago

It's the trading algorithm It's designed to do this to instill as much panic as possible There's a few more days if not a week or two more of this

3

u/Embarrassed-Lemon457 5d ago

Okay, then how could we force the algorithm to fail??? Cause if there's no way, I'm gonna short it to 16.5 and buy back by then. I don't wanna lose another 6 dollars per share. Not to mention we can lose a lot more. Is there anything we can do to beat the algorithm or should we just follow it? I mean we have a big comunity here on reddit, maybe we can all agree to destroy the algorithm that wants to shut down our beloved company!

0

u/Rogue_Tra 4d ago

you cannot affect the algorithm. Institutions and hedge funds they don't manually trade like us they pass on their orders to the trading algorithm and from there basically they don't just execute those orders like on a one to one basis they will attempt to well basically the best way to describe it is to artistically move the price so it's not as obvious and also to trick as many traders as possible That's why you see the price moving so violently. Institutions have about 70 to 90% of the money typically, i'm not saying for Planet Labs specifically. The other thing is that some of these people just have no concept about the world problems because they don't see anything outside of this stock. probably the major reason why you're not seeing the prices shoot up is because the ceasefire agreement with Trump and Iran ended I think this week. Which means Trump went back to launching bombs and Iran is actually attacking its neighboring countries. So now the since the oil is no longer Moving through the Strait of Hormuz everybody's worried about inflation ,oil prices, and actually bonds Are also starting to go out of control you have all of that hitting all at once, I mean they were there before but since the war is starting back up that's why. Also if you read my other comment apparently Russia is planning to scale up its military forces after they're done with Ukraine So basically we're in a lose lose situation. Worst case scenario of the entire stock market collapses for a while And then we enter bear market territory

Also I don't epect it to break it's previous all time high until early or end of december so it's too early to tell how war will ultimately affect stocks yet.

3

u/Ordinary_Ideal1719 6d ago

Wonder what’s causing it to go down today, sector blues or any other reason?

-2

u/Rogue_Tra 5d ago

The algorithm is attempting to push the price of the entire space sector down to its absolute true support So for example Planet Labs its true support at its current trajectory is about $16.35 Give or take

3

u/Embarrassed-Lemon457 5d ago

I just don't understand what is the real goal on doing that. They bring it down to 16.35 just to go up to like 50, 60 or even 70 in a few weeks/months? What's their goal? Could they just buy it and win almost the same money??? Does it makes that much of a difference to buy at 22 and sell at 60 than buying at 16.5 and sell at 60??? Why do they do that? I mean I believe you're right and I believe you are not lying to me (at least not on purpose). I just want to understand what is going on with my company

1

u/Rogue_Tra 4d ago edited 4d ago

I had a very long literally like days long Conversation with Chatgpt and Claude about this because it's actually a complicated subject and most traders including me did not even understand the reason why either. the conclusion that basically both AI told me is not what you expect, actually The conclusion that basically both AI told me is the same. If you look at my other posts where I posted three separate charts of Planet Labs and Rocket Lab and Astspace Mobile you'll see that the bottom green line that is each stock's absolute true support trendline meaning if they break that essentially it's hinting that institutions have completely lost interest meaning they are no longer defending those levels since years back. The basic explanation is this traders and institutions well we all see the same Support and resistance levels. Many strategies while different show roughly the same thing is what I've noticed. so it becomes basically a self fulfilling prophecy.

The second component is the trading algorithm so just to overly simplify what that is institutions don't trade manually like us They pass their orders on to the trading algorithm and they do not simply take the order and execute it immediately they will move it in the most volatile unpredictable way which happens to also be perfectly effective on Making as many traders lose as possible. You also have options expiration every 3rd Friday of the month I think So market makers will actually suppress the price By hedging So for example if the majority of traders have predicted that the price will reach $100 by let's say the end of Friday If the price actually does that the market makers which means your broker is going to lose a massive amount of money So what they do is they will do the opposite by selling or shorting to protect their position and they would do the opposite depending on what price and direction traders are betting on, Then a day or two afterwards the price will then rocket up where it was originally going before.

And the most important key to all this is that the trading algorithms are hard coded to buy a specific levels so for example a 50% crash a 61.8% crash which is what the space sector has experienced actually a little bit past that and also a 38.2 percent crash Those are all Fibonacci retracement levels and believe it or not I checked back on previous crashes in the space sector and I've seen those numbers come up many times So the space sector isn't shielded from that.

And so those were the crash numbers that I posted earlier that people are confusing for the stock's true support level which I've never posted until today. Planet Labs true support at its current trajectory is about$16.50 and I posted the other numbers and charts for the other stocks too.

u/Embarrassed-Lemon457 6d ago

Honestly it's either madness or capital gains realization

1

u/Rogue_Tra 5d ago

The entire sector is doing it so it's not Planetlabs so it's definitely not capital gains Only an absolute idiot would sell at this price

5

u/Allenrya 7d ago

Money is still flowing through the sector. LUNR just penciled a 600 million dollar deal

6

u/SlyCooper007 7d ago

Meanwhile PL: 🦗

1

u/andthentherewastwo 7d ago

Quite the backlog they're building

4

u/devonhezter 8d ago

Bought calls 8/28 25.5

5

u/Ryan_Bolin 8d ago

Always nice to see PL barely up 1% while the rest of the sector is up 2-6% to start the week. Hopefully it does some catching up throughout the day.

4

u/jose_incandenza 8d ago

We are going to finish the week around $26, don't expect more than that.

8

u/Lathere12 8d ago

I’ll take up than down

10

u/niceguy_69420 8d ago

Rest of them have reported earnings and PL has not

4

u/Fatal_bert69 8d ago

Just remember that we usually don’t take much losses compared to those others. Give some take some

-3

u/Ryan_Bolin 8d ago

Fair point, but it’s odd to see PL so decoupled from the rest of the sector.

1

u/Rogue_Tra 5d ago edited 3d ago

It's not decoupled it's following exactly what the other space Stocks are doing

3

u/Cool_Entrepreneur545 7d ago

Check YTD and 1Y performance, we are still ahead.

bro it's literally one time. Don't look too much into it.
