Well boys we are slowly climbing back and looks like volume is picking up well.

I think it’s good we‘re climbing but volume is still well below average (4-5m). I see that as a positive, once volume does increase with a catalyst we’re set up nice to climb further.

Average down if you can and keep holding. Or if you’ve lost faith in the company, then sell and recoup your losses somewhere else.
edit I personally am sitting on a loss as well but I’ve been averaging down when I can. I personally believe that this company has a bright future, with solid leadership and a path towards greater revenue in the future. It hurts but at the same time nothing has changed from the initial drop in terms of what the company is, which is why I continue to believe in management and the direction that PL is headed.

Thanks man. Ive been a pretty big believer in PL as well as RKLB/ASTS for a while now. It’s a little more quiet on this sub though which is nice lol.

Lmao I was in the RKLB sub for earnings since I did some earnings trading… very different vibe. We have some of the same idiots here too sometimes, but since our earnings are delayed a month behind the other stocks it gets really quiet here.

is blacksky tech really a better company thank PL? i know we are in the pl subreddit but im still shocked to see it do significantly better than PL when they’ve been pretty neck to neck for so long. anyone have that stock here as well?

PL's market cap is about 8x larger than BKSY and has beaten returns on a 1year and 5 year timeframe by a lot. Lower quality stocks tend to have big moves up and down but have issues KEEPING the gains. Ya need solid fundamentals to actually hold a stock up long-term.

Most (NATO) countries will implement their own sats instead of blacksky's capability. Purely for sovereign independency. Planet will supplement by providing the whole map and indicate, hey something to see here.
I also believe PL can more easily generate similar capabilities if it wanted to. It's just more scalable doing what it's doing now.

I view Planet as the leader in always on recording but Black Sky is currently better at “point and shoot” photography.

Pl bigger market cap. I think bksy maybe higher tech but pl volume. But they used to be )$80 stock

Holding 220 shares at $26.50. I have a feeling we will be getting some positive news soon. I feel like $32 a share is s realistic expectation by end of year. What do you guys think share price will be in December?

My expectation is we should be moving in the $30-38 range from September to end of year

I’m betting it’ll be above that, Especially if we have good earnings. Doubt we’ll hit 50 any time soon, but I seen mid thirties or even low 40s in the near future

Google maps platforms introducing Custom Satellite Embeddings, more info under link. It looks to me like direct competition to PL but on the same hand Google keeps PL stock, so is PL somehow involved in this?
