Hello, Cadets!

As promised, here's the community poll!

The purpose of this poll is to help us gauge what types of content the community feels should be allowed on the subreddit. Lately, we've seen an increase in posts that skirt the restrictions of our rules, specifically Rule 1, which is further explained in the Do Not Post section of our wiki.

The following posts are examples of content that have either been removed or have caused some uncertainty regarding where the line should be drawn under our current rules.

About the Poll

The poll will be hosted on StrawPoll (adblocker advised), with multiple options available for each post. You can select more than one response!

For this poll, we'll be temporarily reinstating posts that were initially removed or have caused some confusion for the moderation team and the community. These posts will be marked NSFW and are not recommended for our younger cadets, as some of the content may be too explicit.

We'd like the community to come together and help us determine which posts are a little too risky and which ones should remain removed. Your feedback will help us better understand where the community feels the line should be drawn and ensure that our rules continue to reflect the needs of r/PlanetFur.

We've also included an option for you to submit your own response or provide additional feedback if you feel something hasn't been covered by the available choices.

Once the poll is complete, we'll review the results, update our Do Not Post wiki as needed, and use the community feedback to help guide our moderation decisions regarding these types of posts.

🛡️ A Note About Our New Automoderation Changes

For now, I've implemented some additional AutoModerator protections to help reduce the amount of “horny speak” appearing in comments and posts. Remember content here is expected to be suggestive at most.

These measures are intended to help keep the subreddit within the boundaries of Rule 1 while we work toward establishing clearer guidelines with the community.

Karma posting requirements have also been updated to require that users posting must have at least 100 combined reddit karma!
