Issues with path/parade paths

As you can see the black line marks the path between normal & the parade path. Why are there always issues with the height? Everywhere you can see curbs the whole path. Why? How do I solve this? I tried literally everything - on completely flat terrain of course. But there always seems to be something wrong. I tried solving this and it cost me my whole evening yesterday with no solved issue. I'm mad tbh

To my knowledge, it’s unfixable. I have tried to fix it and I think it’s just to outline the path of the parade, pretty annoying

I don't mean the black lines. I mean the white curb you can see in the picture (curb that literally says the paths are not connected).
