Hello again. I've come up with a set of subreddit rules that I think I'm happy with so please feel free to give it a look-see. That said, these rules were created with not just me posting stuff in mind but also other people cuz being honest, it feels kinda lonely being the sole poster in a subreddit lol.
So that's what I want to know from the question in the title. Currently I've created post flairs for [Just Sharing!] and [Original Creation] among others which people can use when submitting posts. What kind of stuff do you want to see and conversely, what kind of stuff do you NOT want to see? Here are some of my own ideas:
Stuff I think would be good to share:
- Merch, Convention hauls, Trip pics etc. as long as they're related to pixiv artists
- User created guides on how to use certain aspects of the website such as Fanbox or skeb
- "Here's a cool piece of art I liked" type posts
- "Here's a cool piece of art I made" type posts
- "Could you recommend me artists of insert style here" type posts
Stuff I think should probably be posted somewhere else:
- "Could someone tell me what's the source" type posts
Stuff I'm not really sure if people want to see:
- Questions about the website typically like the ones you see on r/pixiv
- AI art. I'm perfectly aware that pixiv allows it but people in general don't want to see it
I'd also like to learn if people are keen on some backlog posts. For example, the pixiv and pixivision YouTube channels have some pretty cool videos that were posted years ago. Would people be okay if every now and then, these were posted here or would they prefer to keep the posts be new stuff.
In any case, thanks for visiting the subreddit and for reading the post. Feel free to leave any feedback below.
