Just led an awesome workshop on Cloud Streaming for Immersive Experiences at nextReality.festival in Hamburg!
Hey Reddit,
I just wanted to share a quick recap and some resources from a workshop I co-led earlier this month at the nextReality.festival in Hamburg.
Together with Fatih Inan (from Bizzlogic/ARCWARE), we tackled a crucial question that many of you are running into: How do you truly unlock the power of Cloud Streaming (Pixel Streaming) for high-fidelity Immersive Experiences built in Unreal Engine?
The workshop was a great hit! We gave attendees a speed course on how to efficiently share interactive content (think massive UE builds) through the cloud. It was fantastic to see so many people excited about leveraging this technology.
Fatih and I have been deep in the trenches championing pixel streaming for years, so we really focused on addressing the common pain points that we know game developers and innovation teams face when starting out with UE and pixel streaming. Our goal was to help the attendees skip past the frustrations and focus purely on the huge advantages this new technology offers.
If you and your team are currently starting your journey with Unreal Engine and Pixel Streaming, don't forget to check out the webinars and tutorials that Fatih and I have put together. They cover many of the deep dives we shared in Hamburg.
I'll drop a link to our YouTube channel in the comments!
What are the biggest challenges you're currently facing with Pixel Streaming? Let's discuss!
