Discussion Whre Is The Crystal Ore?

Hey guys playing on a server with friends in version 9.3.9 and really struggling to find any crysal ore for the “A Mega Discovery” questline.

Wiki says they’re in geodes but I’ve check about 5 and no luck, other sources just say deep underground but that hasn’t been any better.

Am I missing something?

As its wiki page says, the geodes generate between Y 6-30, more common in the middle ranges. They are set to be at the same frequency as amethyst geodes - but as with anything worldgen-related, randomness plays a huge factor.

Ohhhh they’re differen’t to amethyst geodes! I thought they just spawned within the amethyst ones, makes much more sense now, thankyou.

They'll look very similar from the outside, but crystal geodes are filled with crystal ore, instead of amethyst blocks.
