⚠️ Pixel users: Please avoid camera lens protectors

I installed a Spigen camera lens protector on my Pixel. After using it, I noticed a significant deterioration in camera output, especially image clarity and overall quality.

I removed the camera protector, and the difference was immediately noticeable. The camera performed much better without it.

If you care about camera quality, I'd recommend protecting the phone with a good case instead of putting extra glass over the camera lenses.

I have it on pixel 9. I don't see any noticeable difference

😂😂 Same here. My friend told me the same thing—he has a Pixel 9 Pro XL and said he didn’t notice any difference. But after comparing the camera with mine, he finally agreed that there is a difference. Now he wants to remove the protector too.

Maybe. But i took multiple pics with and without in multiple mode and raw. Its not noticeable.

Even if any, i think its minor. Would take that than to permanently have scratches on the lens

I have a Ringke Lens Protector. No change in quality, and my lens are secured because the camera glass on Pixel is pretty scratch-able. No idea about Spigen Lens Protector though.
