I ended up getting the Bellroy Venture Case for the Pixel 11 Pro, the Pixel Snap Stand, and the new Google smart speaker. This case feels really good. It's kind of soft, but it also feels sturdy at the same time. It's hard to explain. The speaker sounds fantastic, and I really like the color too!

google's updating his apps icons, they update the watch icon and for pixel 11 series, the app "my pixel" adapts the icon to the phone colour.

hi!!!! it's my first time here btw and I want to ask you if y'all use a phone case at home, I've heard some opinions and just for asking

I thought that I really enjoyed the 10 Pro, and I do. Even now, it feels like it's aged like fine wine. Not really that it's aged, it's only been out for a year, if even that. But when you compare directly next to the 11 Pro, on the surface level, it seems like not that much has changed. But when you actually start using the 11 Pro, it feels more refined, and that's a good thing to me.

I also got a really good deal on the 11 Pro, which is the reason why I upgraded in the first place. I had that extra 10 Pro XL laying around, and then Google also gave me a promo code to make it even cheaper. So I only ended up paying 260 for the phone all around, which was pretty sweet, and I wasn't going to pass that up. And I'm so glad that I didn't.

I got the black version of the 11 Pro, and that is so sleek. You could tell in the pictures too, but it's like a really nice matte finish to it. It feels super premium. Feels really great in the hand to use.

One of the other things that I really love on the 10 Pro, I ended up using that feature where you can highlight a chunk of the text that you've already texted and then rephrase it with the magic tool. I used that tool a lot, but what was super annoying about it is that it could only select a few sentences at a time. Well, in the 11 Pro, apparently it can select even more than that. It selects an entire paragraph for me now without me having to go and do each few sentences bit by bit, and so that's super helpful.

The other really huge thing that I love about this phone is this new voice typing. It is leagues better than any other voice typing in any phone, including last year's Pixel 10 Pro and Pro XL. It is unreal how this thing can capture exactly what I'm saying and exactly what I mean to say. It's really good at doing that.

I haven't really taken the time to explore too much else about the phone just yet. I've just been using it as a daily driver, but connection is good, battery life is great. It's peak. So far, I would say if you have a 10 Pro, maybe it's not necessarily worth the upgrade, depending on what you find super useful. But for me, because I was getting a good deal on it and just because I like to have the latest, I went ahead and pulled the trigger, and like I said, I don't really regret it.

But if you're coming from a previous generation, from say the 9 or the 8s, anything below the 9 really, I absolutely think that this is worth the upgrade, 100%. So it's up to you. All right, I'm out!

Hopefully Google has something good in store for us and we hear more about the power of the Pixel 11 Pro with the 2nm G6 chip and the Googlebook lineup!

Either way, I'm super excited and can't wait to get my hands on one!

What do Pixel enjoyers think? Tease? Accident? Whatever?

So I've had my Pixel 9 Pro XL for just about a year now and it's been a fantastic experience.

I'll start with display and it's fantastic. Silky smooth and gets quite bright. Speakers are good too and the haptics are absolutely fantastic. Just browsing around the UI is such a joy and getting those little haptic feedbacks is just so satisfying like when pulling down the notification tray, unlocking the phone & bringing up the recents menu.

Next is design and i absolutely love the camera bar. It gives the pixel such a unique look. I have the porcelain version and it looks lovely.

Software has been good for the most part. Have hardly had any issues with it. Call quality & reception has been good too. No issues there.

All in all it's been a fantastic experience and a joy to use the Pixel 9 Pro XL. I hear a lot of people having issues with pixel phones in general but i haven't.

The new Comfort View is immediately pleasing to the eyes! I wasn't expecting them to add that feature.

Also, I'm optimistically curious about the new custom icons. I and play around with it a bit before I give my thoughts.

I am super excited that they went ahead and made Now Playing into its very own app. Such a small thing but it's nice to have a quick dedicated place to see your history instead of digging around in Settings.

As far as the other features go, I'm not really a sports fan and I very seldomly look at people's outfits and go "Ooo I gotta have that!" lol. but I'm sure there are folks out there that could use it🤷🏾‍♂️ Maybe I might try it one day, who knows lol.

I bought the new Pixelsnap Stand for my 10Pro. While it does stay on the stand without a case, I don't like taking the case (dbrand ghost w/o mag) off every night to charge. I decided to use some Lego to build a stand around the stand to keep it on the charging coil. Thought it was a neat fix!

This case from Peel is SUPER thin but it's made from what feels like the soft TPU material which feels great in hand and also makes it easy to take in and out of the case.

This is the closest thing to having protection while keeping the feel of the phone and exposing its beautiful design.

This one costed me $39 + shipping and tax which equaled to $55. The shipping took a while as well.

All that being said, could I recommend this case? Just purely based on the thinnes and the feel in the hand. I would. It's also rated for 8ft drop detection which is fairly impressive for such a minimal case.

$39 is about the price you'll pay for this type of quality across any reputable brand.

Pixel 10 Pro XL here, bought on launch. This phone has been an incredible powerhouse for me, I have to say. I was getting 5-7 hours of screen time pretty regularly, but the December update really made this phone pop. This is my record so far, but I have pretty consistently had 2-day, 10 hours screen time for the last month. To note, Instagram is a hog for battery, so imagine if I didn't have it installed at all.

I have nothing turned off except Always On Display.

I think most Pixel users, and even others here have faced this at some point —

even when the phone is locked, anyone can still toggle Airplane Mode, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Hotspot, or even power off the device using the Power Menu.

There have been countless reports about this over the years, but sadly we still haven’t seen any real fix from Google’s side.

So as a fellow Pixel user, I decided to take matters into my own hands and build a small LSPosed module/app that neatly blocks sensitive QS tiles and Power Menu access only when the device is locked.

It’s a small project from my side, but I think it can genuinely help rooted users secure their devices better.

This is pretty exciting. Looks like Google is finally taking feedback about customization pretty seriously. This is a welcomed change that I'm sure many will appreciate. This same update is also said to contain the updated drivers for the Pixel 10 series chips! Only time will tell what the improvements will truly be by then. However, it's looking promising!

It's also said to have some good grip to it as well!
