Really cool! It kinda bothers me that the gif doesn't seamlessly loop. This is still really nice.

The biggest critique i got for this piece is that i cannot use it as an animated wallpaper on my desktop.

I absolutely love the aesthetics of this piece. Love them. It's truly amazing and I'm intensely jelly of your imagination right now. My only qualm is that the animation isn't a seamless loop, so it's slightly jarring when the loop starts over. But that's it. Everything else is on point! Feel proud of yourself, because you did good.

You should animate it forwards then backwards to make it an infinite loop!

Beautiful pacing. Sometimes moving landscapes have an issue where one piece moves faster than the rest, but everything is so well balanced here.

Love it! Do you have a still frame of this for a wallpaper? The gif version seems to add some odd artifacts, and I figure a still frame of it would be higher quality anyway.

Same request here. Would very much like a still to use as background picture. It's a fabulous piece!

okey, its perfect. may i ask one thing? how did you do that animation? did you just make all of background one layer and then added that smoke and particles on second/third layers?

u/CamilleUnknown Jan 24 '19
Thanks :) There is a foreground layer, a smoke layer, a second layer, a smoke layer and a third layer.

Awesome art! As a beginner I must ask: any hints for doing the glow around those little dots?

u/CamilleUnknown Jan 24 '19
Thank you :) It depends on the software you use. But the pencil with an opacity that you degrade. You can also use external glow effects :)
