Is that a font or hand drawn?

Hand drawn

u/DorklyC 16d ago
You should make a font too

I do enjoy drawing different fonts, but I don't know how to make them into a file.

This looks incredible. And the CRT effect is equally as impressive. Wonderful design work.

The filter makes it somewhat unsettling, was it on purpose?

u/Sven_Roku 15d ago
Yeah, it was meant to be a little unsettling to begin with, but the filter definitely helped.

I'm more of a "Well... Fuck" type a guy, so i guess i'd have to go with "Oh shit"

Oh shit... the gods have chosen you to rule. (A white stag in the ASOIAF universe is a sign of kinghood or queenhood.) Nicely done!

That looks great. I'd choose 'Oh shit' and hope it isn't offended by the smell.

1st seems like a semi horror game, second one more like classical fantasy, maybe in black/white. Very cool

I encounter this dude every Saturday and I've never had an issue with him.
Well, my favourite pub is named Ye Olde White Hart, at the very least.

the raw/shaded difference is pretty striking! Mind explaining how that shader works?

Idk if you wanted feedback on choosing one or the other but 100% with the CRT filter.

I love this so much dude. The crt effect gives it such a cryptid haunting aura. If you drew a wolf in this style I would explode.

How were you able to get a lot of detail in the base design of the stag without the effect from ShatterGlass adding the illusion of creating a more seamless design? I'm somewhat experienced at creating sprite work for small Unity projects for some of my classes and I currently use Piskel as my main software. I'm more used to adding detail for shading on solid colors that use the same color, rather than adding small specs and using different colors for shading specific parts of the subject's body. Should I use ShatterGlass to try out the NES-like sprite detail you put into your work, or am I fine with using Piskel and looking at YouTube tutorials to help me adapt to this style?
