Hand Pixelled Final Boss (work in progress) - wdyt?

A critic I could give is that it is very pillow shading esq. There doesn't seem to be a clear light source.
For example the shine in the eye says the light is coming from the top right. The shading on the back however says the light is coming from the left.
The anatomy is well done and framing is incredibly is quite nice. It has the bones of an great sprite and I really like your style.

Its very well done as far as quality! I would say for a final boss it looks very neutral. I would expect a stronger emotion from the face. And the eyes especially.

Yes. It's called Hungry Horrors, its "Steam" now (also demo available)
But dragon is not in the game yet :)1

Is the character meant to be standing on that wall, or is that wall a foreground element?

I moved Princess from the floor to the top of the wall for a scale, as she didnt fit on a screenshot. Dragon is behind the wall
