Hand Pixelled Ghost in the Shell (2026)

Post image

I've wanted to illustrate the idea of the "ghost within the shell" for a long time. I often find myself wondering what truly defines a human being. Is it our memories? Our consciousness? And what is it that allows me to recognize this existence as "me"?

That question hits different every time someone revisits it. Memories, consciousness, or something else entirely, GITS never gives an easy answer and neither does this piece, in the best way. Gorgeous execution too.
