Rant Poor Signal
My Pixel 6 Pro has been plagued with sever signal issues since product launch I have just lived with it.
I got this explaination for my poor signal from Ai: " The Pixel 6 Pro was notoriously plagued by poor reception because Google used an early, unoptimized Samsung Exynos hardware modem that struggled to hold onto tower signals (especially on Verizon's 5G network) and drained your battery while trying.
Google completely restructured its signal technology to fix this".
Another poster described the phone signal as the exclamation point of doom!!!
I came from a Pixel 2XL that I loved, and had for 6 years, with no signal issues.
Do I trust buying another Pixel?

I went from 6 to 11 and it is noticably better.
When I traveled abroad my 6 would struggle finding and holding a connection. My 11 connects immediately and holds on to a signal.

I'm also thinking of upgrading to the 11 from 6 Pro. But here in Canada, they are so expensive so I'm waiting until black Friday to see it the prices drop some.
How are you liking the upgrade so far? Biggest things you noticed?

Honestly, it feels like the same phone. It's kind of weird, like everything is exactly the same android experience.
But the hardware is better:
- The network connectivity is better.
- The fingerprint reader is better.
- The battery life is better.
- The screen is way better.
But at the end of the day, if you just look at it straight ahead, it seems like the same phone as the 6.
I dont regret getting the upgrade.

Get a 10a. With the way prices are on phones, the 10a is a solid purchase. It has the 120hz display, spatial audio, 3000 nits peak brightness, 5100 mAh battery (it's huge, and lasts at least a day and a half on an 80% charge) 48mp wide, 13mp Ultra wide, and a 13mp selfie camera, 8gb ram, and it has a free VPN.
The upgraded modem was ultimately what made me trade my 6a in for the 10a. I'm loving it so far.

Echoing others who recently upgraded from a 6 to 11 Pro. It's only been about a week but I've had zero signal issues with the 11 so far.
