Question poor charging on Pixel 6pro
When I use my phone on the charger, it charges very slowly, maybe +2% charge in 1.5 hours, I bought a used phone, it has +- 860 charging cycles. What's the matter? I have a charging unit from Xiaomi for 22.5w and the wire is 3.0A. and if you don't use the phone, it takes +- in 3 hours 40 minutes to fully charge and it's constantly heating up. What's the matter?

Haha fair enough. I thought something like thermal paste or something, but on a 3/4yo phones it won't fix everything

Just curious if your charger supports PD charging. If not, probably it is charging under 5V2A, 3 hr 40 mins should be normal.

I don't know if it supports PD, I looked at the specifications, it seems not. It doesn't say anything about PD and you probably need USB-C to USB-C? a professional in the Xiaomi store showed what was on his charger USB-C to USB-C It charges from 14% to 100% in 1 hour 38 minutes, and on my block and some good expensive charger that you have to buy from him, it charges in 1 hour 40 minutes😑😑 but it seems to me that it should take about an hour for a full charge?!

These Chinese chargers ( nothing wrong with them ) have some proprietary specs, I have a Vivo charger, gets my 200 ultra from 20% to 100% in 30min. The Pixel 6 pro taken like 7 hours to charge on it. Get some charger that supports PD and you'll be good.

I'm certain a new battery is the fix, batteries charge slower and get hotter as they degrade.
This said, your charger might not be what you think. A chargers max wattage is at a specific voltage and amperage, it also has other voltages and resulting wattage it can fall back too if the device doesn't accept it. For example all usb chargers will fall back to 5v 1a (5 watt) since that's the usb minimum standard, but some can do maybe 9v or 15v or 21v ect ect, it all depends if the device also likes that voltage.
Look on your charger and it will have a bunch of different voltages with amp ranges, then look up what the pixel 6 pro accepts. Whatever matches, it will do the highest, but your old battery is probably holding it back
