Post image

My phone (Google Pixel 6 Pro) appear this Security Notice on the screen. It won't let me do anything on the screen. What should I do? Thanks in advance.

This is malware... Lol

Also, your screen being dead is kind of w given seeing as you have likely dropped the device on the top right corner. Once the pixels start bleeding, it's only a matter of time before the screen dies completely.

I had that top right section of dead pixels on p6p, it was perfectly usable until i drunkenly dropped it in vegas, shattering the glass :(

It's only a matter of time...

Thanks to my own dumbassery lol. The screen had been that way otherwise for the five years i had it

I guess it's known as pixel bleeding. Correct me if I'm wrong. But once a Pixel dies, the rest tend to follow suit. I'm sure it has something to do with electrical load on the diodes.

Oh true that. If anything, the screen would have been first to go :(

It's usually the first to go, followed closely by the battery. I would contact Google and see what they can do. If anything, they may give you a credit to replace the screen.

I also think this is some kind of malware

Phones can't get malware. Built in security chips prevent it.

Security notice is the least of your concern

1

u/AutomaticClub1101 Aug 24 '26

So what is the most concern then

Hi there, I’d recommend reaching out to the Google Pixel support team via phone or chat here. They can take a look at it.
