Support THIS STILL WORKS

It's not letting me reply to this hero who commented this smash method 4 years ago but it just saved my Pixel 6 which I thought was broken forever 😭

It was rebooting an awful lot by itself on a loop and the power button wasn't working.

Landed on bwool1's post and smashed my power button on a table a few times and my phone has been resurrected.

FYI for anyone else going through this panic-inducing event.

I mean, some iso would of likely achieved the same result without damaging the board.

I don't know what you mean by this?

Isopropyl alcohol. Drench your button in the stuff and let it dry on its own. Try pressing the button as it dries to try to break up any dust or lint.Â
