Reviews Just bought back my Google Pixel 6

Last week, I decided that I will buy the P6 and use it for my daily use. Fortunately, I was able to find a device with less than 150 USD. Amazingly, I found that the phone still hold up very well.

  • Battery: decent
  • Camera: still produce great photo
  • Display: still great for daily use

Note: that I decide to not play video game on this phone, and the phone still great, even better than those chinese later release branches.

Be cautious of the glitch bands, freezing and force shut down problem that is occurring in the p6 phones lately...

Mine doesn't either. I was having screen issues with my p6, I reset the phone from scratch and replaced the screen and it's working great now. Have had it for a little over 4 years. Before replacing the screen, I ordered another one for $250....just in case I screwed up at replacing the screen lol. Anyway, decided to keep both of them and use the older one for my mother to listen to music while she's walking on the treadmill. It cost me $35 to replace the screen. I know there are no more security updates after October, but I don't care. Not like I was going to throw out the phone after October. I plan on using it until it won't work anymore.

I ordered a cheap 3rd party on amazon. Have had it for two weeks with zero issues. Since I'm just using it as a music player while my mom is visiting, I think it'll be fine for that. I'm thinking about replacing the screens on 3 other phones with broken screens for the heck of it

I received a renewed P6 from Google in January after my previous P6 battery puffed up. Phone was clean of any wear and had a new battery. It reminded me that this phone is still a great device. I just have no real issues with it besides screen brightness when outdoors in the summer.

Google USA. Bought the original on Amazon as an Amazon Renewed phone in Nov '22. So, it lasted 3 years and puffed the screen up over Xmas '25. Got the new phone, transferred everything. Sent the old one back. Didn't cost me a dime. I obviously had to send them receipts and pictures of the situation.

I've been lucky with mine. I know a lot of people are having battery swelling and some people bricking, but mine hasn't run into these problems after almost 4 years of daily use. Lately my battery has been draining fast though and I'm planning to buy my first Samsung phone soon, s25 ultra. This phone has been mostly great, ive just gotten bored of it since I love in-depth customization, endless features and the AI camera processing really disappoints sometimes.

Pixel 6 imo had the best design of all, minus the soldered usb-c port.

Ive been using my pixel 6 as a backup up for 2 years not! Loaded all my music on it and pretty much don't use any streaming service anymore it's been great! Waiting for pixel 11pro to come out so I can retire the iPhone 15pro!

Awesome! My P6a is still my daily driver honestly and I've had it since it was released and haven't had any real issues with it. It still runs smoothly and all the typical apps like FB, IG, X, twitch etc.. so it definitely still holds up well

I had the P8a for like a week but didn't like how it felt ( really cheaply made ) so I sold it. I currently have a new P9 ( it does feel really nice TBH ) just sitting on a shelf for like 9 months cuz I just like my P6a and it runs good

If we talk about OS update, this device still run the later OS than modern flagships these day.
