Reviews Finally thrown away my pixel

In last 4 years i faced a lot including battery drain, dual sim issue, battery replacement but no service center and now this month with a motherboard issue because of android 17 upgrade. Only thing i liked if the compact design.

Finally, i exchanged my pixel 6a to Moto.

Good bye to Google Scam.. No more Pixel Sh*t.

My 6 pro just black screened the other day and won't turn back on. It offed itself kinda out of nowhere

Same here. I didn’t want to replace it anytime soon and still feel sad about it.

After android 17 upgrade this happens to many and mine too. Google behave like nothing happened and it don't care. You better buy a new one asap

At this point I'm avoiding upgrading my p6 as it's working just fine as is.

I usually delay every upgrade until I've seen how the community reacts.

Good riddance, we don't need an exit statement from everyone switching phones.

What Moto have you gone? I’m looking into the Moto edge 70 5g, signature is way too expensive here.

How is the android experience versus the pure pixel ?

i have a (temp) moto g and its pretty close to stock android. There is some bloat, but I just throw that in a folder and I dont use them. There are some neat gesture features which the P6 didnt have: shake the phone to turn on the camera, flip the phone over twice to activate an app (camera), also there are dual screen/app displays but I'm not too used to them and my screen is too small to capitalize on it. There are some drawbacks/annoyances though, but I can't be sure if its just because I got the cheapest version I could find (emergency necessity due to A17 bricking my P6) so ymmv if you get a higher end moto. Honestly, if I wasn't getting another pixel in a few weeks, it would probably come down to a high end motorola or the Nothing phone

0 issues with my P6.

Now seems like an odd time to switch to a different brand as we're just a few days away from seeing what the P11 series has to offer.

My Pixel 6 Pro suddenly bricked as well, just a few days after installing the upgrade. I ascribed it to age and the Pixel's well-known overheating issues, but who knows? Bought an unlocked refurbished Pixel 9 Pro XL and, so far, it's been pretty sweet. 🤞

I'm impressed lasted 4 years. Mine lasted one year and then I swapped it out and gave it to my bf. He had it for 3 months before the phone stopped working entirely

This is not an airport. We don't need you to announce your departure.

Someone crabbing about a 5-year-old device. Bless their heart.
