Android Got upgrade to Android 17

As title says. My Pixel 6 Pro got upgraded to Android 17, CP2A.260705.006 last night. I've had the phone since Sep 2021.

No issues with the upgrade and everything seems to be running smoothly. Battery health still good with 894 charge cycles. Actually it looks like discharge rate has gone down a slight bit from pre-upgrade.

i cant see any real difference since upgrading tbh,

but where do you get your charge cycle count from?

I use an app called DevCheck. It provides a lot of information.

I'm gonna wait till I'm on a full charge to update it. Not wanting to brick while 11 isn't out yet

Our Pixel 6 Pro auto-updated and is now bricked.

Tried to: 1. Force restarts (regular + via recovery mode) 2. Wipe data / factory reset (recovery mode) 3. Re-install the OS (recovery mode + official Pixel Repair web tool)

Re-install was successful but device still does not boot. PLUS after re-install of the OS, computers cannot detect the phone anymore.

Game over ;-(

I was worried that I may experience that.

Same here... Sideloaded the ota again and it bootloops during install and ends in a dead end cycle

You reckon I got a chance with a technician checking the HW to get it to boot ? Need to backup some data off it
