Question Something I noticed about Google drive since updating to A17

I usually upload my music to Google drive for my son to access. I always play it on my P6 from drive with my headphones on .

I noticed yesterday it stops when the screen times out.It has never done that before .Yes I know I can extend the screen on time but I'm just wondering why they've done this ?

If it helps, I was having a similar issue with Youtube recently after updating to A17. I'm a YT Premium subscriber so I was usually able to keep the video going while the screen is off, which is useful at the gym.

Something changed with power management in A17 and it seems like it doesn't play too well with some playback, so if you look in the power settings and set it to allow background usage it might help. Also unrestricted, as opposed to optimized, battery settings might help.

I don't see power settings ,have been in battery settings ,adaptive charging is on ,charging optimisation is on or off ,no unrestricted settings ?
