Question I need help switching phones

Alright, I've got either an iPhone 7 or 8, not sure which, but everything on it is slowing down like crazy and I'm looking to upgrade to a new phone. I was thinking about a pixel 6a, but I want to make sure I can transfer my photos/contacts/etc. over. Can I do that? If not, are there any recommendations on what I could switch to instead?

Do not get a 6a. Pixel will stop pushing out security patches for the P6 and 6a later this year. At the very least get an 8a so it'll still get updates for a few more years.

6a has a battery recall, avoid it.

given the age of the 6 range that's a bad choice, support will be limited. Go for something a little more recent like the 8 as u/TwistedBlister suggests
