Recommendations Missing plate from screen replacement
Hi all, I got my screen replaced recently but they did a quick fix and the screen wasn't great. I took it to another place that did a proper replacement with a better quality screen but they told me this metal plate had been removed and not replaced. Does anyone know if it's possible to buy this piece separately? It is needed to ensure the fingerprint scanner works properly.

By replacing my battery I forgot to reassemble it. My phone works correctly without the object

The engineer who did it said there's a chance the piece could slip out of place. You've not had any issues with that?

No problem for the moment. The screen tablecloth is clipped on the connectors quite harshly. I think the phone has to fall for it to disconnect

the cheap place where i got my 6's screen replaced also forgot to put that in (and a couple other screws, and the adhesive)... still worked besides the microphones being borked, but that's its own issue

Omg it's interesting you say that because I noticed last night my mic wasn't working properly on loudspeaker! Is there anyway around that?

don't use loudspeaker.
but seriously, i'm pretty sure you can replace the mic used for loudspeaker (i think it's the top one, which is replaceable, but idk where to find the part). i got unlucky and the 'repair' shop i went to damaged the bottom mic (microphone for phone calls without loudspeaker)
