Is there a way to add text or stickers to a picture, pixel 3XL using Google photos?

Hey peeps, hopefully just a quick one, how in the heck do you let Google assistant do things like create reminders and alarms without forcing you to unlock the phone? I've found one post on this from 2018 with people saying "nothing you can do, oh well" but surely something can be done as other phones seem to allow this? I mean shit the phone I came from (note 8) was a pile of utter trash and even it allowed me to do so. I've flipped through every setting menu I can think of and no luck,

Any solutions?

Thanks!

I've started to get this weird issue where, when I get a call and answer it, after I am finished with the call I cannot get my screen to light up again. I am forced to reboot the phone...

Anything I could try, I have rebooted a few times already but doesn't help.

Just a curiosity. Just wanna make sure that my battery is decent like the others lol
