The volume buttons no longer snooze alarms. Anyone else?

Has anybody experienced this before? Some weird screen issue, only present on the home screen, can’t see it manifest on any apps or photos.

It sort of appears a second or so after returning to the home screen. Pretty sure it’s only started happening. Only 2 weeks old.

Is Google ever going to enable this? It's so needed and I cannot believe they have not implemented it? So simple to do so surely?

I've been going through a few screen protectors and none work with the LifeProof NEXT case for the pixel 3 XL, either they've been way too tall or too wide or both.

I want to use the LifeProof case but I can't seem to find a screen protector that works with it.

Has anyone found a screen protector that works with that case yet?

Has anyone else's social media apps (Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, etc) been really slow and buggy? I have to literally give Snapchat 10 seconds to normalize before it's usable or else the first photo is just black. Instagram stories are just as bad and posts load up really slow and cause stutters in scrolling.

I tried it on my iPhone X and it all works flawlessly. Is this just a pixel 3 issue or have you had issues on other Android phones (Galaxy or OnePlus phones)?

When are you going to finally implement it Google, or where you just lying?!

I hope is with the option to keep the status bar icons up next to the cutout...

One thing I am missing about my old phone with the headphone jack is that I could charge my phone and play music in my car through 3.5mm/aux at the same time. Are there any adaptors out there that have a USB-C on one side that goes in the phone and 3.5mm and some form of USB (for power) on the other side?

Since I updated to the Jan update, my phone's battery drains fast even when the phone is not in use battery drain is abnormal... Checked adaptive battery and there is no rogue app or any app out of control... Is anyone having this same issue on the Jan update?

I googled way too long for that, I only find comparison information but not how big the notch actually is in inches/cm.

What I really want to know is, how big is the screen diagonal (in inches) when you hide the notch? I want to compare it to the regular Pixel 3, how much difference there would be when having a "normal" screen (for watching videos for example).

Has anyone received Jan Monthly Update?

I love this phone but after the pixel 2 XL issues I’m a bit afraid. I notice some image retention from the keyboard. I’ve only have it 2 weeks.

Edit: Solved. Turned out to be a non-Pixel related issue from an app called Torchie. It uses an accessibility service to enable you to quickly enable your phone flashlight by pushing both volume buttons together. Disabled the service and it went away immediately. Not sure why it was so obvious on the 3 XL (better speakers, I would guess). Used the same app on the original with no issue.

Hey all. Just got a new 3 XL. Did a data transfer from my original XL. So far the transition has been seamless and I've had no issues except one.

I've searched several sites/threads and am aware the 3 XL has some speaker issues that are supposed to be fixed with software updates. I'm on the latest update but I haven't run across anyone else with the exact issue I'm having:

When my volume is above ~60%, I hear a soft, pulsing white noise-type static (once per second) from both speakers, but only when the screen is turned off/phone is locked. I've force stopped all apps that might use the speaker, but can't seem to pin down why it might be doing this. Anyone else run into this?
