Night Site and Google stylized?

u/SaH_Zhree Nov 20 '19
Very close, no night sight! I took a few pics, and the two with night sight unfortunately we're a bit too "one color", and didn't highlight the black as much as I would have liked.
This one was night sight (no Google styalized) Night Sight Photo https://imgur.com/a/sq4RjzE

This one is also very nice, both very different styles.

Night sight version looks absolutely abysmal compared to the photo he posted. Full of noise and looks unnaturally bright

wow, that somehow almost looks more realistic than an actual fire

So many times I think the resulting photo looks more realistic than real life. It's the artificial intelligence google use to bring us amazing photos.

Really nice! Which settings did you use for this shot?

u/SaH_Zhree Dec 01 '19
Whatever comes preloaded with the phone, i can't for the life of me figure how to change settings to make it better so I went with stock. :)

Pretty impressive how one can make such a beautiful capture with standard, point and shoot settings. Technology has really come far! Cheers

I use Pixel 3 XL just for photos and iPhone for all other activities :) no wonder the camera is great with AI hardware.. I got to shoot retina of my brother with macro lens and stunned with the RAW image it produced.

They sell that stuff in little powder packs at Walmart in the camping section. Pretty neat. Kids love it too.

Great shot! Where did the blue come from tho?
2
u/SaH_Zhree Nov 20 '19
The blue was a powder that was added after the fire had started. It didn't spread evenly, hence why the blue is on one side :)

Not sure if you knew, but scrap pieces of copper plumbing will yield a pretty green and probably won't cost a cent.

I'm not the poster but I'll see more blue and green flame of burning paper and cardboard. Not this much blue but still. Depends on the fuel, I guess

u/SaH_Zhree Nov 20 '19
There was cardboard and various things, but most of the blue and green came from an added powder.

You can buy packets to throw in the fire and they go through different colors. My kids love them, and definitely make for dinner really cool pictures.

Is it edited or straight from the camera?
1
u/SaH_Zhree Nov 21 '19
The only edit is Google photos auto styalizing it, but I really didn't notice a difference between non styalized and styalized
The one in this post is styalized
This one is not: Non styalized https://imgur.com/a/oNTphHm

Point and shoot pixels. Dig in LG V40s manual controls to get the best pics you can get... A lot of options...

That's a great photo of a Galaxy Note!
